JFD is pleased to announce a safe return to classroom training, in line with government guidelines, on its training courses run from their National Hyperbaric Centre (NHC) in Aberdeen.
In March all classroom training was postponed due to the outbreak of COVID-19 to ensure the safety of all involved, and in line with all guidance issued by government. Since then JFD has launched its online training platform with relevant courses adapted to this format, allowing customers to continue enhancing their skills during the COVID-19 pandemic.
However we recognised that for some courses, online training is not feasible and face to face training is the only delivery method suitable. JFD has been closely following the changes in government issued guidance, and as a result, in the coming weeks will be providing a safe phased return to classroom training based on the courses most urgently required by the industry. Dates for these courses will be communicated in due course.
The safety of our customers and staff is paramount and as such we have fully risk assessed training activity at NHC and introduced a range of comprehensive measures to ensure the safety of customers attending a course at our training sites with NHC being a COVID-19 secure environment. You can find details of the measures implemented on our dedicated webpage: Classroom training FAQs
We are providing candidates with the opportunity to put down a deposit to secure their place on the first classroom courses run, should they wish to. We will be in regular contact as course dates become established and we look forward to welcoming our customers safely back to our sites.
